These terms of delivery are valid from November 2, 2023.

The store sells products to individuals of legal age. Product prices include VAT (ALV). We reserve the right to change prices and delivery costs.

Ordering

Products are ordered in the online store by moving them to the shopping cart and paying for the contents of the shopping cart in the online payment service. All customer information is treated confidentially. The contact information requested in connection with the order will not be used for anything other than the delivery of the order or for clarifying any ambiguities arising in it, unless specifically stated otherwise. When ordering from the online store, you are required to have familiarized yourself with and agreed to the delivery conditions valid at any given time.

Payment and payment methods

The payment service is Paytrail, through which the payment options are invoice, partial payment, card payment and online bank payments.

By providing information at the checkout, you accept the terms and conditions of Paytrail Oy (Lutakonaukio 7 c/o Innova 2, 40100 Jyväskylä). By pressing the "Buy" button, you accept the general conditions of Taivalvaara Ski Resort's online store.

Payment service provider

Paytrail Oyj is a collecting payment service provider and an authorized Payment Institution working in cooperation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. Paytrail Oyj will be shown as the recipient on your bank or credit card statement. Paytrail Oyj will forward the payment to the merchant. For complaints, please contact the website the payment was made to.

Delivery methods and delivery costs

Delivery costs include postage and packaging costs. We present an estimate of the future delivery costs in the shopping cart according to the primary delivery method in use. You can see the exact delivery costs after choosing the payment and delivery methods you want for the order. The delivery methods in use depend on the contents of the shopping basket and the combined weight. You can choose from the delivery methods in use at the checkout the option that suits you best, in connection with which the exact delivery cost is shown.

Delivery time

Our most common delivery times to Finland vary depending on the order and delivery method. Exceptions to the delivery time estimates have been stated if there are out-of-stock products in the shopping cart, and we will also notify you of possible delays immediately after ordering.

We are not responsible for delays caused by force majeure or indirect harm caused by delays. The online store informs about unusual delivery times on its website.

Returns
Right of cancellation

You have the right to cancel this contract without giving 14 days notice. The deadline for cancellation expires 14 days after the last batch of goods has been received or, in the case of downloadable products, from the moment the order is received.

To exercise the right of cancellation, you must inform us of your decision to cancel the contract in an unambiguous way (for example, by letter by post or email). You can also use our printable return form, but its use is not mandatory.

In order to comply with the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient that you send your notice of using the right of cancellation before the cancellation period expires.

The 14-day return right does not apply to lift tickets or season passes purchased online.

Effects of cancellation

If you cancel this contract, we will refund you all the services we received from you, including delivery costs (except for additional costs due to the fact that you have chosen a delivery method different from the cheapest standard delivery method we offer), without delay and in any case no later than 14 days after receiving the cancellation notice. We will perform the refund using the payment method you used in the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise, and in any case, in such a way that you do not incur costs for returning the services.

You must send the goods back without delay and no later than 14 days after making the cancellation notice. The deadline has been met if you send the goods back before the 14-day deadline expires.

You are only responsible for such reduction in the value of the goods, which is a consequence of other than the processing necessary to determine the nature, properties and functionality of the goods.

Unclaimed package

Non-redemption is not the same as refund or cancellation. For unclaimed packages for which a separate cancellation notice has not been made, we will charge the delivery costs.

Problem situations

If the product is lost or damaged during transport or otherwise does not match your order, you must report the error in writing within 14 days at the latest to the address mentioned in the Right of cancellation and return conditions section or by calling the phone number mentioned in the contact information. If the package is clearly damaged in transit, you must immediately file a complaint with the shipping company of your chosen delivery method.

Other conditions

If the season pass is used by someone other than the pass owner, we always charge a misuse fee of 150 euros.

When skiing without a valid lift ticket, we always charge a misuse fee of 150 euros and the price of adults day ticket.

Hinnaston mukainen hissiliput oikeuttavat rinteiden sekä hissien käyttöön. Väärinkäytöstä perimme edellä mainitun väärinkäyttömaksun 150€ sekä aikuisten päivälipun hinnan.

Palauttamatta jääneistä vuokravälineistä peritään sakkomaksu 150€ + päivävuokra. Varastetuista vuokravälineistä tehdään ilmoitus poliisille.
